Fracture healing and deformity reconstruction of the skull and face.

Operation planning is aided by a tangible 3D model. This allows the surgeons to prepare better for the operation. The model is made with a Rapid Prototyping process, like Stereolithography or 3D color printing.

Prostheses cases

Lost limb replacements.

To ensure the best possible fit, the patient is scanned with a 3D scanner. The prosthese socket is manufactured with Rapid Prototyping technology, according to the scan data.

Orthopedics cases

Fracture healing of the leg and arm.

During operation, screws and nails are inserted in the bone. This requires planning and the use of specific tools. The different pieces of bone are held in het right positions. After healing, the screws and nails are removed.
